It is a mechanical distribution box for fiber cables, consisting of 2 half-shells largely symmetrical that form the body of the box. The upper half-shell contains a rubber gasket along the entire length of the box. The mushroom-shaped design has been specifically studied. The pressure between the two half-shells ensures waterproofness. The upper and lower parts are screwed together with stainless steel screws and nuts. The nuts are fixed in the lower part of the half-shell. A cable clamp is present near the cable entry hole in the lower part of the box. The entry grommets are rubber and conical, thus it is possible to cover a wide range of cable diameters. After splicing, the half-shells are screwed together. Then the cable glands must be turned back over the box entries and then fixed with stainless steel ties.
