These terms govern purchases made on merilin.store. They are written to distinguish consumer rights from the terms that apply to professional purchases.
1. Seller and contacts
merilin.store is operated by Postal Music S.a.s. di Terzilio Mancinelli, Via delle Ginestre 21, 06083 Bastia Umbra (PG), Italy, VAT No. IT01872610546, REA PG-164751 (“Merilin Store”).
For support, returns and complaints: info@merilin.it. Telephone: 320 628 4308.
2. Order and conclusion of contract
The customer selects products, checks the order summary and submits the order through the website. Before submission, the customer may correct the data and must accept these terms. Receipt is confirmed by email with the reference number, products, prices, addresses and selected methods.
Acknowledgement of receipt does not guarantee product availability. The contract is concluded when Merilin Store accepts the order by specific communication or hands the products to the carrier. If the order is not accepted, any amount received is refunded by the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.
3. Products, prices and availability
Features, compatibility and included items are stated on the product page. Images are illustrative and may differ in non-essential details. Customers must check suitability for their intended use before purchase.
Applicable prices, taxes and additional charges are shown before order confirmation. In the event of an obvious pricing or availability error, Merilin Store informs the customer and offers confirmation on the correct terms or cancellation with a full refund.
4. Payments
Available methods are those displayed at checkout and may include card payments through Stripe, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Satispay and bank transfer. Card data are processed by payment providers and are not stored by Merilin Store.
For bank transfers, orders are fulfilled after funds have cleared and the payment reference must state the order number. If payment is not received within seven business days of the order, Merilin Store may cancel it after notifying the customer.

5. Shipment and delivery
Italian deliveries are made by express carrier to the address stated in the order, at street level unless agreed otherwise in writing. Rates, weight bands and free-delivery conditions are published on Payment and delivery and shown at checkout.
Delivery is made without undue delay and, unless otherwise agreed, within the maximum period required by law. Shorter times stated on the website are operational estimates and run from product availability and, for bank transfers, from clearance.
Shipments outside Italy require prior agreement on availability, costs, timing, taxes and payment method. Where delivery fails due to the customer, including an incorrect address, repeated absence, failure to collect or unjustified refusal, documented storage and return costs may be charged, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
6. Damage, missing parcels and transport anomalies
On delivery, customers should check packaging integrity and the number of parcels where possible. Visible anomalies should be described as a specific reservation on the proof of delivery. Retain packaging and labels and promptly send photos to customer service.
Signing without reservation can make a carrier claim more difficult but does not remove the statutory warranty for defects or damage not visible on delivery. Prompt reporting helps Merilin Store manage replacement, refund and insurance claims.
7. Consumer right of withdrawal
7.1 Deadline
A consumer—an individual acting outside their business, trade, craft or profession—may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days from taking physical possession of the goods. For separately delivered orders, the period begins on delivery of the last item, lot or piece.
7.2 Notice
Within that period, the consumer must send an unequivocal statement to info@merilin.it, stating the order number, products concerned and contact details. The statutory model form may be used but is not compulsory. Merilin Store confirms receipt and may assign an RMA to facilitate handling; failure to state it does not invalidate a properly communicated withdrawal.
7.3 Return
The consumer must send back or hand over the goods within 14 days of communicating withdrawal to Postal Music S.a.s. di Terzilio Mancinelli, Via delle Ginestre 21, 06083 Bastia Umbra (PG), Italy. The deadline is met if the goods are dispatched before it expires.
The direct cost of returning goods is borne by the consumer unless Merilin Store offers otherwise or the goods are non-conforming. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, cost depends on weight, volume and location; an estimate is provided or made calculable before purchase where required by law. Goods must be suitably protected and returned with the accessories, manuals and equipment received. Do not apply labels or tape directly to retail packaging. The consumer is liable only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning.
7.4 Refund
Merilin Store refunds payments received for withdrawn products and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered, within 14 days of the withdrawal notice. Extra costs for a more expensive delivery method chosen by the customer are not refunded. Refunds use the same payment method unless a cost-free alternative is agreed and may be withheld until the goods or proof of dispatch is received, whichever is earlier.
7.5 Exceptions
Withdrawal does not apply in the cases provided by Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, including where applicable: made-to-measure or clearly personalised goods; sealed goods unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed; sealed audio/video recordings and computer software once unsealed; digital content not supplied on a tangible medium where performance began with express consent and acknowledgement of loss of withdrawal rights; and any other cases expressly provided by law. Statutory withdrawal does not apply to business or professional purchases; any B2B commercial return must be agreed in writing.
8. Returns other than withdrawal
Returns for an incorrect purchase, incompatibility not attributable to the product page, or other commercial reasons outside the right of withdrawal require prior authorisation. Merilin Store may accept or refuse them and, before acceptance, communicates any verifiable handling costs. Returns for defective or non-conforming products follow the statutory warranty and cannot be subject to charges inconsistent with consumer rights.
9. Statutory guarantee of conformity
For new goods sold to consumers, Merilin Store is liable for lack of conformity becoming apparent within two years after delivery under Articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code. This statutory warranty is owed by the seller and is additional to any manufacturer commercial warranty.
Where there is a lack of conformity, the consumer is first entitled to repair or replacement free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. Where legal conditions are met, the consumer may request a proportionate reduction in price or termination of the contract. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear, accidents, unauthorised modifications or failure to follow instructions, unless attributable to seller information or installation. To start support, provide the order, product, description and useful photos or videos. An RMA identifies the return and does not limit statutory rights.
10. Order changes and cancellation
The customer may request a change or cancellation until the order has been handed to the carrier. Merilin Store will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request but cannot guarantee it once preparation has started. After dispatch, consumers may exercise the right of withdrawal under these terms.
11. Complaints, applicable law and jurisdiction
Complaints may be sent to info@merilin.it or to Via delle Ginestre 21, 06083 Bastia Umbra (PG), Italy, stating the order number and a full description.
The contract is governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer’s residence or domicile has jurisdiction where located in Italy, without prejudice to alternative remedies provided by law. For professional relationships, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Court of Perugia has exclusive jurisdiction.
