SFP transceivers are high-performance modules that support a double-speed à 1,25 Gbps data transmission and a transmission distance of 550 m withMF.
The è transceiver consists of three sections: a VCSEL laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamp (TIA) and a unità control MCU.
All modules meet the Class I laser safety requirements. Transmitters are compatible with the multi-source SFP (MSA) agreement. For more information, see SFP MSA.
