The KVM over IP DisplaySlim port extension unit KE 9900 ST è a high-performance, compact and reliable IP-based transmitter that can be associated with any KE* series receiver to achieve a budget-saving solution. KE* series extenders allow access to a computer system from a remote USB console via Intranet to allow users to set up computers in a secure environment with controlled temperature, isolated from user workstations.

The KE 9900 ST supports video input DisplayPort from a computer while the associated KE series receiver supports DisplayPort, DVI or HDMI output to offer video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and qualityà video compression integrated and loss-free with minimal latency. The extender also supports RS- 232 serial commands. In addition to a DC power jack, the KE 9900 ST transmitter includes an additional CC terminal block to make it more ù convenient to install.

It can be placed on a desk, mounted on the wall or on the back of a rack thanks to its space-saving mounting design on 0 U rack. It is also possible to use the KE 9900 ST as a point-to-point extension device/multipoint point-to-point, or integrated into a matrix KVM over IP (multipoint multipoint) system when combined with the matrix KE (CCKM) management software, so as to offer more ù flexible applications in different network environments. The configuration is done through the KE matrix management software or the RS- 232 /Telnet text menu. The KE extender also offers improved security features such as support for AES encryption for secure data transmissions/keyboard/mouse/USB and RADIUS/LDAP/AD user authentication or remote to offer an additional level of security in connection.

When integrated with the KE Matrix Management Software and associated with the KE Series receiver, the KE Extensor supports other advanced functions such as boundless switching, quick exchange, video wall, multi-view, profile planning, automatic detection of KE series extenders on the same subnet to make installation and configuration more rapid, in addition to authentication and permission by username/password.
