Switch KVM over IP Cat 5 8 ports with Daisy-Chain - ATEN IDATA KH- 1508 AI

The KVM over IP Cat 5 switch with high densityà Aten KH 1508 Ai offers 16 computer port configurations in a 1 U housing for rack installation. It allows local and remote operators to monitor and access the entire enterprise data center via the Internet using a web-based browser.



The KH 1508 Ai has RJ- 45 connectors and Cat 5 and/ 6 cable for connection with computers and multiplatform support. It guarantees that high quality & high signal transmission is over long distance, up to 50 m* without requiring KVM extenders. Using KVM adapter cables for the final connection, the KH 1508 Ai allows any combination of PC, Mac, Sun computers and serial devices to coexist in installation.



In addition to connectingà TCP/IP, Aten KH 1508 Ai offers console ports for a USB or PS/ 2 connected locally and a Net.

USB console laptop (LUC) – allows access and control from the data center as well as switches designed with powerful and unique functions that allow administrators to manage the entire server environment and devices of the data center devices in a simple and convenient way from any location in the world.



A special message board, which like an Internet chat program, allows unlimited remotely connected users to exchange information and communicate or collaborate in the installation management. Panel Array Mode™ allows you to monitor up to 8 servers at the same time. Other functions that contribute to enriching the powerful functionalityà switches are: Mouse DynaSync™, an adapter ID.



With KVM switches over IP ALTUSEN, IT administrators can manage server rooms and data centers from virtually anywhere, reducing travel costs and MTTR (average repair time) – and ensuring maximum availability of data center services.
