I-CASE PE-6216G is an eco-friendly power distribution unit (PDU) with 16 AC outlets from the NRGence line to increase power usage efficiency in data centers.

Provides centralized, secure, and intelligent power management for powering on, off, and rebooting data center devices (servers, storage systems, KVM switches, network devices, serial devices, etc.). It also allows monitoring of the data center environment via sensors*.

The eco PDUs offer remote power control in addition to real-time power measurement, allowing you to control and monitor the power status of the device connected to the PDU, at both the PDU device and outlet level, from virtually any location using a TCP/IP connection.

It is possible to set the power status of each outlet, allowing users to turn each device on or off. The eco PDU also offers comprehensive analysis reports, providing precise real-time measurements of current, voltage, power, and watt-hours.

The NRGence eco PDUs support any SNMP management software v1, v2, and v3, in addition to eco Sensors (ATEN's software for managing eco PDUs). The latter offers a simple method for managing multiple devices, thanks to a user-friendly graphical user interface that allows configuring a PDU device and monitoring the power status of connected equipment.

Thanks to advanced safety features and ease of operation, the eco PDU is the most convenient, comfortable and reliable way to remotely manage power in various IT installations and to allocate power resources as efficiently as possible.

** Sensors are optional. To generate a graph and data with a higher level of completeness of energy efficiency, it is necessary to install the sensors.

Power distribution

  • Space-saving design for rear rack mounting 0U

  • The 3 7-segment LEDs on the front panel show current, IP address for PDU and group

  • Remote monitoring of PDU or group status via browser

  • Support for safe shutdown

  • Separate circuits for unit power and output outlets: the user interface remains accessible even when overload trips the device's circuit breaker

Remote access

  • Remote power control via TCP/IP and an embedded 10/100Mbps Ethernet port

  • Network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SMTP, DHCP, NTP, DNS, auto-discovery, Ping

  • eco Sensors: power management software for eco PDU

  • SNMP Manager V1, V2 and V3 support

Operation

  • Local and remote control of output power (on, off, power reboot) for individual outlets

  • Various power control methods – Wake on LAN, System after power return, Power off

  • Power-on sequence: users can set the power-on sequence and delay time for each port to allow equipment to be turned on in the correct order

  • Ease of configuration and operation thanks to the browser-based interface

  • Multi-browser support (IE, Mozilla, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, Netscape)

  • RTC support to keep the clock active in the absence of power

  • Support for up to 8 user accounts and 1 administrator

  • Proactive Overload Protection (POP) – automatically turns off outlets in case of current overloads to protect operating devices

Management

  • Power status measurement at PDU/group level

  • LED indicators for current and IP address at PDU and/or group level

  • Aggregated data on current, voltage, power, and energy dissipation displayed in real time in a web interface for PDU-level monitoring

  • Environmental monitoring: supports external sensors for temperature, humidity, and rack differential pressure

  • Setting thresholds for current and voltage

  • Ability to assign names to sockets

  • User access assignment for individual outlets

  • Event logging and syslog support

  • Upgradable firmware

  • Multi-language support: English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Russian

Security

  • Two-level password security

  • Robust security features such as password protection and advanced encryption technologies: SSL at 128 bit

  • Remote authentication support: RADIUS

eco Sensors energy management software *

  • Automatic discovery of all PE devices within the same intranet

  • Remote real-time power measurement and monitoring

  • Real-time remote monitoring of environmental sensors

  • Tracking/monitoring of all PE devices

  • Threshold exceeded alert via SMTP and Syslog

  • Power analysis report

** eco Sensors is designed to operate with NRGence™ PDUs and comes with the entire PE series.
