KVM switch with remote/local access over ip VGA - Aten IDATA CN- 8000 A

The KVM over IP with a single-port CN 8000 A provides access control via ...over-IP... for conventional KVM switches that do not have integrated functionalityà over-IP*. It allows system operators to monitor and access computers from remote locations using web browsers or application programs based on Windows and Java. CN 8000 A connects to the Intranet via LAN or WAN easily using a standard Cat 5 and/ 6 case, and connects to KVM switches or servers via a custom KVM cable.

The product uses standard TCP/IP protocols for communications, allows access to KVM servers or switches connected by any computer via Internet – either from computers located in the basement, other areas of the country or affiliates in other parts of the world.

CN 8000 A expands the previous models by offering a dedicated RS- 232 port for modem access or serial concole management, a PON port for connection to an ATEN PDU device and capacityà virtual average USB 2.0 .

A Windows Client Viewer and a Java Applet Viewer are available for browser access, while Windows Client AP and Java Client AP programs are available for access to the non-browser user interface. It allows IP connection and access from anywhere via the Internet. The inclusion of a Java-based client guarantees CN 8000 A to be an independent platform that can work with virtually all operating systems.

To meet advanced security requirements, the Virtual Media function of CN 8000 A allows mapping to a remote server of a Smart Card / CAC reader on the local user system. CN 8000 A offers a fast, reliable and cost-effective way to remotely access and manage installations of more ù computers over extensive distribution.
