The KVM over IP HDMI KE 8900 S è a pair of transmitter (KE 8900 ST) / receiver (KE 8900 SR) based on high-performance IP compact and reliable that allows you to access a computer system from a remote USB console (USB keypad, USB mouse, HDMI monitor) via an Intranet; users can place computers in a safe environment at controlled temperature, isolated from the user's workstations. KE 8900 ST or KE 8900 SR canò be associated with any KE* series receiver or transmitter to achieve a solution that saves money on the budget.

The KE 8900 ST supports HDMI video input from a computer while the KE 8900 SR supports an HDMI monitor output to offer video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and qualityà video compression integrated and loss-free with minimal latency. The extender also supports Virtual Media function and RS- 232 serial commands. In addition to a DC power jack, the KE 8900 ST transmitter includes an additional CC terminal block to make it more ù convenient to install.

The KE 8900 ST can be placed on a desk, mounted on the wall or on the back of a rack thanks to its mounting design saves space on 0 U rack. You can also use the KE 8900 S as a multipoint/multipoint point extender/multipoint point extender, or integrated into a matrix KVM over IP (multipoint) system when combined with the KE (CCKM) Matrix Management Software, so as to offer more ù flexible applications in different network environments.

The KE extender offers different configuration methods, such as the local receiver OSD, the KE matrix management software or the RS- 232 /Telnet text menu. The KE extender also offers improved security features such as support for AES encryption for secure video/keyboard/mouse/USB data transmissions and RADIUS/LDAP/AD or remote user authentication to offer an additional level of security in connection.

When integrated with the KE Matrix Management Software, the KE extender supports other advanced features such as boundless switching, quick exchange, video wall, multi-view, profile planning, automatic KE series extenders detection on the same subnet to make installation and configuration faster, as well as authentication and permission by username/password.
